Gluten Free Recipes The
wheat free and gluten free flours produced by Doves Farm Foods are Buckwheat Flour,
Gram flour, Rice Flour and the speciality Gluten Free Flour blends. The recipes
are designed to show you a variety of uses that the flours can be adapted to.
None of the flours contain rye, barley, oats, soya, dairy products, gums, chemicals
or other artificial additives. Wheat
free and gluten free baking can be a pleasure once you have learnt to use and
feel at home with, your new ingredients. Flours which are not made from wheat
have a variety of their own unique characteristics and with a little practice
they can easily be adapted to many of your favourite recipes. When using gluten
free flours do remember; - Add
slightly more liquid to all your recipes, it will be quickly absorbed.
- Enjoy
baking your favourite cakes & biscuits by substituting wheat free and gluten
free flours for plain flour in your recipes.
- Where
a recipe calls for self raising flour, mix 1 teaspoon of baking powder to every
200g or 8oz of gluten free or wheat free flour.
- These
recipes assume you will use large eggs and where measurements are in teaspoons
(tsp) or tablespoons (tbsp), that these are level.
